Andrea Landis

Consultant

Andrea Landis has been a consultant and project manager at Kaufman Campaign Consultants (KCC) for six years, with extensive experience in graphic and web site design. Landis also oversees and manages budgets and mail programs for campaigns across the state. She works closely with executive board members and coordinates steering and executive board meetings on high-profile campaigns managed by KCC, including the Alliance for a Better California (2005) and the Yes on 1D education bond measure (2006).

Over the last two years (2007-2008), Landis managed the web and mail programs for: Alliance for California's Tomorrow's Rod Wright for Senate program, the Mariko Yamada for Assembly program on behalf of Working Families for Progressive Leadership, Yes on 1D, Yes on Prop 93, Ted Lieu for Assembly, Nicole Parra for Assembly, and the senate races for Lloyd Levine, George Nakano and Pat Wiggins.

During the 2004 Election Cycle, Landis helped coordinate the mail program for Assemblymember Nicole Parra in what was widely regarded the number-one targeted Assembly seat in the state. She also designed web sites for the campaign, including Parra's official campaign web site, as well as a critical informational web site documenting opponent Dean Gardner's numerous bankruptcies, tax liens and name changes. Landis also helped manage the mail programs for Juan Arambula for State Assembly and Lou Correa for Orange County Supervisor during this cycle.

In 2002, Landis coordinated a mail campaign for Americans for Health Care, (including New Hampshire for Health Care, Iowa for Health Care and Maine for Health Care), with the goal of bringing health care issues to the forefront of the presidential debate, particularly during the Iowa caucuses.

Prior to joining KCC, Landis worked as an office manager and event coordinator for GE Enter Software. She also worked as a Student Assistant to the California Air Resource Board.

Landis graduated from the University of California at Davis with a Bachelor of Art and Science in Studio Art and Biological Sciences. In her spare time, she currently takes science classes at Sacramento City College, saying that as a project manager on campaigns, it helps to know there is some order in the universe.
