Lisa Murphy
Lisa Murphy has been with Kaufman Campaigns since she graduated from UC Davis in December of 2007. She got her feet wet assisting Richard Stapler with press and outreach for the Yes on Proposition 93 campaign.
Since then, she has assisted with press and outreach on the Lloyd Levine for State Senate campaign, Joan Buchanan’s re-election campaign, Ted Lieu for State Senate and for Attorney General, and numerous ballot initiatives including No on Prop 16 and Yes on Prop 25. Before joining the Kaufman team, while studying at UC Davis, Murphy interned in the summer of 2006 for the California Democratic Party, and in the summer of 2007 with State Senator Elaine K. Alquist (D-San Jose). She was also an appointed delegate to the California DSCC from 2008-2010.
Murphy graduated from the University of California at Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Political Science. In her spare time she enjoys taking dance classes, karaoke and wine tasting.
